EvaluMation, LLC has developed customized software for testing electrical components and gathering data for research and development purposes. The customer is able to develop customized test sequences utilizing a third party test executive solution developed by National Instruments known as TestStand. EvaluMation, LLC developed custom software components to interface with TestStand and communicate with many different types of measurement equipment. Equipment supported by the software includes, but is not limited to: oscilloscopes, radio frequency power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and function generators.

The software takes the data collected from the measurement equipment and places it into a data collection file that can then be used by engineers to develop specification documents for their electrical products. The file format used for data collection is HDF5, which is capable of holding an unlimited amount of data. This file format can hold data in tables, 3 dimensional arrays, images, and many other data types all in the same file. An example of the data that can be collected by the software is shown below.
